Dragon Rise

I'd watched the sunrise the morning I started this. I suppose this could be a depiction of myself, as I was sitting on the rail of the porch half asleep and curled up to keep warm watching the light come over the mountains, showing a bit of a longing. Either that, or it could be depicting one of my friends, who was watching the same sunrise somewhere else.
Either way, I'm very proud of this one, I tried a more realistic approach to the scales of the dragon, at least on its face.
